To consistently influence the continuous improvement of quality of life, we have established a research unit dedicated to studying the quality of life in cities. Its activities are entirely independent of Happy City Hub and focus on researching global development trends in the context of sustainable urban development. As part of this project, a think tank was created – the Institute for Quality of Life, with a Scientific Committee that annually develops, among other things, the Happy City Index, an independent and one of the largest studies in the world on urban development and residents' sense of happiness.
